This time it's the MOBIES - The Third Annual Mobile Entertainment Awards held by CNET Networks Games & Entertainment. AEII scored the Best Strategy.

The finalists in this category include "SWAT Force" by Vivendi Universal Gamese - never heard of the company, and WTH this game doesn't look like a strategy one at all - and "SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Mobile Recon" by Jamdat.

Don't know about the rest, but I guess AEII deserves to win this category just because it looks a real strategy game compared to the other two.

I have to admit that I've never really played this game more than going though its tutorial level though. Strategy is not for me - or most games aren't (how ironic that I make games for a living). I did play parts of this game, but just so I could record the footages needed for me to compose the trailer. Oh these old days before we hired someone taking care of this kind of tasks full-time. I am so glad that I don't have to play our games just to make the trailers anymore. It must has totally took me more than 12 hours to get the one done for AEII. I morn over the hours I have wasted on these things while being glad that I could now waste my time in producing junk pictures instead.
